Esther Barsel

With great sadness COSATU mourns the passing of Comrade Esther Barsel on 6 October 2008, at the age of 83, and sends condolences to her family, friends and hundreds of comrades. Comrade Esther was a true heroine of the struggle for freedom, democracy and socialism. - SACP
